Played on Thursday. You tell us what drink you would like to have. We will buy the largest size of that drink (not to exceed $10 in cost).

Guess How Many Cans

Played on Friday. We will post a bag of cans, and you have to guess the exact amount of cans in the bag. The winner will be paid $.10 per can in the bag.

Badges/Titles

  • You start earning rewards by your title when you earn the 500 Club Member Badge.
  • Climb the ladder with your cans. When your total count goes up, the higher you will ascend the ladder.
  • Each badge has a cash value that is paid out by how many spots you move the ladder toward the top position. Your position will be determined where you are on the leaderboard by the end of each quarter in comparison to where you ended the previous quarter. If you haven't donated cans in the previous quarter, you will not be able to qualify until you have one quarter of activities on file.
  • If your title changes in the middle of the quarter, you will only be paid at the level you started that quarter as.

General Manager

A General Manager or (GM) is one who is leading the way in recycling aluminum cans in their zip code in 2026.

A qualified recruit is one, that 1 Million Cans Man, picks up from their home or office and have their own account.

Reward

For every recruit that meets the guidelines below, the GM will earn an incentive of $10.00 per recruit when each recruit reaches 300 cans within their first 90 days. You may recruit as many homes or business locations as long as you hold GM status.

City Mayor

A City Mayor is one who is leading the way in recycling aluminum cans in their city in 2026.

At the end of every quarter, a new mayor will be announced if someone out preforms the current mayor.

The mayor's role is to help spread the word about our 2 Million Cans Initiative.

The mayor tries to grow their city by 25% by the end of the quarter.

Refer 3 new resident donors in their city.

Reward

Once this goal is met the earnings for a mayor while mayor of the quarter, they can earn the following:

Base Pay $25.00

Earn $1 for every % that your city grows over the initial 25% quarterly growth

Earn $2 for every % over the initial 25%, plus setting up recycle in a business location

Earn $3 for every % over the initial 25%, plus setting up recycle in a business location and a school.

Monthly Rewards

  • Earned every month but paid out at end of quarter

Win free 12pk drink when your cans put us at the next 10,000 can mark.

Monthly Top Donor

Win Free 12pk drink when you donate most cans in the month.

Top Donor of the Year

Win $25 as the top donor of the year.

Bill Paying Rewards

  • Rewards are earned once a quarter.
  • Choose which reward you want your cans to be applied to.
  • If you don't make a selection by the end of the quarter, your cans will automatically default to "Graduation Stipend" as a choice.
  • Whichever reward you choose, your selection will remain for the entire quarter, you will not be able to change it once your selection has been made.
  • Each reward has a can count that has to be met in order for the reward to pay out. If can amount isn't met, there will be no prize paid out for that reward.
  • The can count amount will be all the cans you donate in that quarter along with other donors who may have chosen the same reward.
  • Each reward has the potential to have multiple winners. The more cans donated that quarter, the more winners will be produced.
  • The quarters:
    • Jan - Mar: Paid by April 10th
    • Apr - Jun: Paid by July 10th
    • July - Sep: Paid by Oct 10th
    • Oct - Dec: Paid by Jan 10th

High School Senior Graduation Stipend

Do you know someone graduating in 2027? Your empty cans can provide the support they need as they continue their education or step into adulthood. Cans donated to this category will be collected until the end of the 2027 school year. The recipient of this award must be willing to complete volunteer hours with the 1 Million Cans Man Recycling Program. Up to 21 students from Pierce County will be chosen to receive this Graduation Stipend from the cans donated in this category.
