Hi,

I'm a retiree from the upper Midwest who chose Washington as Gardener's Heaven. I can easily visit snow, if I like, but I don't have to shovel rain. I was born and raised in Kentucky which explains why I try to grow okra and collard greens and suffer frustration that they don't like cooler nights in summer like I do. I love saving cans for this Project and will continue to grieve the loss of our walking can collector, Sally.
